About Us

Neumann Scientific was established to offer expert scientific editing and consultation for research grant applications. We offer an iterative process of reviewing; conducting three rounds of review for each grant to help develop it into its optimal form.

We focus on the following key questions to maximise our client's chances of funding success: 
  • Is the project described in a way that is understandable for reviewers who may come from outside the immediate field?
  • Is sufficient detail provided to give the reviewers a full sense of what is being proposed?
  • Is the approach scientifically sound and/or could alternative approaches be considered?
  • Are there any 'holes' in the project that may be picked up and critiqued by reviewers?
  • Has the proposal been prepared with an engaging writing style and an appropriate use of schematics and figures?
