Brent was invited to speak at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Innovation Forum at the University of Melbourne.

The talk was titled "Fuse it or Lose it: Highly efficient repair of the nervous system through axonal fusion", and focused on our research of nervous system repair, as well as touching on our other research areas and the advantages of the C. elegans model system.

Our grant application to the Charcot-Marie-Tooth Association Australia (CMTAA) has been successful!!

CMTAA will provide us with $11,250 to support our research aimed at identifying therapeutics for combatting CMT disease.
