Brent has been successful in his application for a Young Investigator Award to attend and present his research at the 2016 Asian-Pacific Society for Neurochemistry (APSN) meeting in Kuala Lumpur (list of awardees).
The award includes: - a waiver of registration fee. - an invitation to APSN2016 Gala Dinner. - US$300 for travel and accommodation expenses. The conference runs from August 27th - 30th, and more information on the meeting can be found here: APSN 2016 Today we welcome Dean Fontbin to the Neumann lab! Dean will be with us for the next three months completing a Research in Action in Biomedical Science project - a program for high achieving students - as part of his undergraduate DEV3990 course.
Dean will be working closely with Zehra Abay on a project entitled: cellular and molecular mechanisms of axonal regeneration. |
